Black Cherry w/ White Handles ?

Has anyone painted their BC handles and mirrors white? I'm about to do the bezel, but thought to bring it all together, I'd paint the handles and mirrors too. If you have, can you post a picture please?

I'm a bit worried about grime showing on the white and I have also thought of black handles and mirrors w/ a white bezel. Opinions? Anyone have pictures of a BC w/ Black handles and mirrors?

Here's mine w/ newly painted wheels.

I'm not too sure about the white handles, but I think black ones would look badass . I think your wheels look badass too.By the way, I think I've seen your truck in the holland/rosemont rd area?

Thank you. I may go that route, but love the white bezel especially on the BC. Yeah I'm holing up at my best friends house, since I'm in between homes right now. We need to get together and go wheelin!

Here ya go! I am about tho get the wheels powdercoated (Porsche alpine white) to get the look finished. I am waiting to do the lift first though. I did a post on the removing the mirrors and handles for paint with step by step instructions (Removing the door handles for painting ) Here is a pic of mine right now (except I blackened the aluminum skid).

Nice rides. The rims came out sweet.

Re: Black Cherry w/ White Handles ?

With black wheels I would go with black mirrors and handles.

Paint the bezel white to match the roof is a great idea. It will give it more contrast and make it catch the eye. I am not so sure about white handles. I agree with FJC#8, having black ones would look awsome. Also blacking out the bumper. I played with your picture to help give you an idea.

Kiskat's BC looks great like that. I didn't think the white mirrors and handles would look good, but they do. I wonder how the forward facing surface will hold up to rocks and bug splatter?

I kinda agree with these 2 opinions & this photoshot really is a great visual aid. I love the way your black rims look too and I think the trim would look amazing in black. The bumper paint I used (black bumper coating from advanced auto) is really close to the rest of the bumper and I think would make your ride really stick out. I used krylon fusion gloss white for my trim and it isn't creamy enough to make a perfect match with the roof (/& sliders on mine). I have people come up and ask me about the trim all the time (they think it is an option that their dealer didn't tell them about). I love the look of the white (got idea from Kilted Bishop & went alittle further than he can because the only white he is seeing right now is snow) & just wanted it to stand out a little bit from the stockies. Plus I think anymone who visits this forum will know they can come and talk to me without asking because they'll realize off the bat that I am not using it just to haul kids or groceries. Whatever you choose it will look great with that rack & rims. I really don't grasp why Toyota ever put all that silver trim on anyway. K
