I think important stories like the ones you describe have been done and done over and over again. Nothing wrong with it, but it cant be the only story they do.
Maybe the windshield isnt an issue for you (yet) but when it breaks on you once or more than once, the exhorbitant price of replacing it will be. Maybe then you'd understand and have some sympathy for people who have had issues with it.
An extra thousand in expenses can break some families. JMO
Good point Perv3rse! After reading about all these windshield issues, I called my ins. agent last monday and reduced my deductible down to $100.

Re: 7 On Your Side Wants Emails Re: Windshield Problems

I just recieved an email from Ross McLaughlin, please look at the contents below. The lawyers that handled the class action suit for the Honda Element are starting a class action suit against Toyota.

Ron,

These are the same people who handled the Honda Element suit. I talked to this firm last week about it. They said your stories sound very similiar to the Element saga.

If this is the case put me down. Is Ross forwarding our info to them?

Re: 7 On Your Side Wants Emails Re: Windshield Problems

Ross McLaughlin (7 On Your Side) is ready to do the story and wants to air it soon. The only problem is that he needs footage of an FJ windshield being replaced. Is there anyone in the Washington DC area that is able to help him with this request? This is the only thing holding up the story.

Re: 7 On Your Side Wants Emails Re: Windshield Problems

This is gay... I'm getting more and more chips on my seconmd windshield and in order to see this go any further I need to fly out to DC when I get my next one swapped out? I bet getting my truck there is cheaper then the new windshield! So what the heck is going on with this? Anyone still paying any attention to it?
