Re: 7 On Your Side Wants Emails Re: Windshield Problems

OK, I'm sure I will be completely flamed, banned and tortured over this, but I can not stay off my soapbox. WTF is wrong with the news / people? No shootings to sensationalize this week? Let's make a big deal out of cracked glass that travels at 70+mph at an approximate 55 degree angle. Personally, I would have an issue with driving down the road and having my engine fall out, but a broken windshield? Get a life! Ask a Jeep driver how often they crack a windshield. I would prefer 7 On My Side to do a story about the the sacrafices our soliders and their families are making. I chose to purchase my FJ which I truly enjoy; whining about its shortcomings is not going make it better!!! Thanks

All,

Please send these emails to Ross so he has the leverage to help us with Toyota. This will put pressure on Toyota to address this right after it was reported that Toyota was number 1 for the quarter in auto sales.

Re: 7 On Your Side Wants Emails Re: Windshield Problems

The reason for doing this is to get Toyota to warranty the windshield like Honda had to on the Element, 6 years 60,000 miles for all Element owners.

Don't know what Postini is. Are you sending it via your email account at work or home?

Re: 7 On Your Side Wants Emails Re: Windshield Problems

FLWakeB,

I am doing this because I am concerned about insurance rate hikes for us or a refusal to renew our insurance policies after having multiple windshields replaced at a price of almost $1,500 on each FJ.
