Ok... All these detailing threads are making me dizzy. So to help weed through this jungle of products, I am going to create this Living Post. Here is now it works. Everyone is encouraged to post to this thread your favorite detailing products. I will update this root post with the different products, keep a running list of recommendations for a product. I will try to update the root post on a daily basis.
When you post your recommendations, be sure to include product name, who makes it and the type of product.
OK. I went all Griots. Speed wash (to lubricate the clay bar and for washes when you don't feel like getting out the hose), Clay bar, Random Orbital sander, various micro-fiber towels, cleanning mitt, Machine polish #2 and #3 (#1 on the way). Best of show wax OR paint sealer, interior cleaner, dry wax remover and glass cleaner.
It all works great + staff is extremely knowledgable on the phone. Also recommend the detailer's booklet and/or the DVD on how to use the power tool.
If I had it to do over, I'd get bonnets for the orbital to remove polish and wax too.

Ooh, great idea! I was having the same problem following all the recommendations. I've got bookmarks all over. Rep points for you - don't spend them all in one place.

Good idea Terahex! You're missing my favorite though. Zymol. 61% white Brazilian No.1 carnuba. Mmmmmm....., and they're HD Cleanse is a great, mild alternative to clay bar for more frequent paint cleaning.
