Maybe a stupid question but will the cover fit over a BFG A/T 285-70-17? It would be nice to know before I did all that work.

I did mine about a month ago.

I don't think the tire cover will fit over larger tires, I'm pretty sure Katfish and 3DTonka are running goodyear silent armor 285/70/17 on there's and they said that the cover wouldn't fit over those. I don't know for sure though.

I don't know of sure. I am running 285's but my spare is still a 265. It is a tight fit on the 265 so I would guess that it wouldn't fit a larger tire. Anyone one know of sure?

I found out for myself if the cover fits over a BFG T/A 285 “NO” the tire is too big. I just got done having a set installed. But they sure look good!! It’s too bad I bought everything to paint the cover, but now I have a cover for sale.
