Well, I screwed that up! Paint was perfect....Ended up using the Krylon Fusion for plastic...great match to the Blue and easy to use...no priming necessary. Thought I could modify the cover to fit the locking ring from the old tire cover that was damaged. Cut to the same size as the color keyed center piece but the curves were slightly different and now the new cover won't fit...it's too flat and won't work with the locking ring. Good idea...poor execution, although the cut was near perfect but it just doesn't fit. Oh well...into the garbage and in search of another new cover...Guess I should post in the FS/WTB section of the forum...Bummer...

Oh man... sorry to hear of your misfortune I'll sell you mine, and hey, its already painted... but I'm sure the SF wouldn't look too hot with VB Seems like there are always new spare tire covers for sale around here- good luck in finding one
