Tire Cover Mod
I painted the FJ to match my Voodoo Blue FJ, and the tread marks in a textured sand paint
Then I added a light coat of reflective paint, for a special effect.

Re: Tire Cover Mod
Thanks. It took about 2 days. I took the tire cover off and masked it off while watching TV. Personal I like the reflective touch the best.
You can pick up textured paint just about anywhere. I think I got mine at Fred Meyers.

Re: Tire Cover Mod
What kind of paint did you use? Is it adhering to the plastic cover well? It looks great but details of what you used, how you preped it, etc. would be helpful.
Thnx.
