Re: shovel and axe on roof rack

There are one or two threads floating around that might help you. Personally, I wouldn't leave my tools on the rack all the time. The weight, weather (rust), and vulnerability to theft are more inconvenient than simply taking them down and putting them back when I need them.

Re: shovel and axe on roof rack

Hey FM, Here's an idea that you might find interesting. I went with this to keep my tools out of the weather, and thieves hands.
Shovel & Axe on Rear Door
Thanks to SilverDusk for his cool idea and great How-to.

Re: shovel and axe on roof rack

I believe I was standin' on the spare... See,
it can hold weight, alot of weight... ...

If I can ever get time, I have a beautifull
idea for the dual jerry can placement... ...
Along with so many other things... But first,
I need to get my roof(house) to stop leaking
which is my memorial day weekend plans,
strip/reframe my roof...
