Re: anyone running these sliders

technically these arent sliders, theyre just fancy side steps. they wont help much for protection from the rocks. the hoops will probably get ripped off if youre in the tough stuff. also they arent mounted to the frame, just under the body.

so if youre looking for rock sliders, these wouldnt be the things to get. but if you just want side steps, theyre great.

Re: anyone running these sliders

Re: anyone running these sliders

Steps may actually damage your vehicle since they're lower than the frame and if you "whack" them on a rock they may bend up into the frame.

They're great for mall crawling and such. Not for off road use.

Re: anyone running these sliders

I run these , nice very strong, but attached to body, not frame. Im going to sell mine and get all-pro sliders.

Re: anyone running these sliders

for added protection (and use of a step) get something that sticks out like All Pro, Donahoe, or Expedition One. they stick out about 5 more inches and add protection to the rocker panels and can also be used as a step. Toyotas are flush with the doors.

Re: anyone running these sliders

I have thoses. I can tell you from experinace thatthese don't work as body armor. Wentto hollister a few weeks ago for the norcal GTG and they almost got me stuck. Wheni got hung up i bent them up a bit. No damamge but they could have done worse if i wasn't carfull. I too like chatsworth will be selling these for some sliders. Undecided whitch ones yet.
