These brackets are 1 3/4" in diameter. They are machined aluminum brackets for hanging weight/lead from race cars. It also works great for anything else you need to hang from your chassis: exhaust, dry sump tank, and lines etc, and of course roof rack.This bracket is drilled on two sides to accept a 1/2" bolt.
I purchase the Hi-Lift bumper brackets (25.00) and mounted them too the aluminum brackets, you will need 4, I purchased the 1/2 allen bolts at Ace hardware. I wanted to mount it custom in the back for easy acess, I did'nt like the idea of mounting it on the side. Here are some pics.

That looks great! Did you have any problem gettting the Hi-Lift brackets to match the angle of the roll-bar clamps? Is that Hi-Lift bracket strong enough to not bend and allow the clamps to rotate if they somehow came loose? Also, I would recomend you change the Allen head bolts on the roll-bar clamps to stainless, you'll soon see them rusting otherwise. Nice work, gotta love creativity!
