That pretty much sucks. They should've at least said something to that effect at the raffle.

Thanks, all!!

Thanks, Bear. All this time I thought it was the engine bay body rip alarm, and I was wondering why mine hasn't gone off yet.
A real big . The BOX is the best. Like the Stream light mount

I'll look harder at these stores, or see if they can order. Thanks!

And again, nice work, I too like the idea of the Streamlight charger, I may look to do this with my SureFire. One just went on a mount on my Carbine.
Amazon is where I had to get mine. the local guys knew what they were, but could not order them and said I would just have to wait for them to show up.
Blah..

Heres a link.

Good source, Nilepoc. But, if you can find them in the local auto parts store, they're about half that price (plus no shipping).

Steve, I'm really digging your flashlight in the door well mod. I don't use that space for anything as it's a little awkward to access while driving. Your mod puts the light and charger out of the way but within easy reach. I like the phone mount as well and those matching yellow crates are just plain sexy. Kudos.

Re: Flashlights, cell phone, groceries . . . .

I've been looking for a good mount and setup for a small flashlight like that, and you just nailed it for me. Perfect to spend some birthday cash on. I also have the full sized tonk light mounted behind me, but when I only need a light and not a club as well, then the stream light will be perfect.

And, in case you missed it, 1911 is envious of your box

Re: Flashlights, cell phone, groceries . . . .

You guys might want to consider installing Painless Wiring Circuit Boss 7, has 4 switched circuits and 3 constant. Runs straight from the battery and only uses a switched wire from the FJs fuse box to turn on the switched circuits. This will seperate all add on circuits that you run from the main wiring harness. No warranty issues and a much cleaner stand alone wiring harness of your own design. Only $68 for the kit.

Re: Flashlights, cell phone, groceries . . . .

Great write up. I have ordered the flashlight and will be installing it and several of the 12v outlets next weekend.

Thank you for sharing this with the group!
