Custom Vinyl Tire Cover-Recommendations?

this is my first posting to the cruiser website since becoming an owner in May. I have a voodoo blue cruiser and want to get a custom printed vinyl tire cover to cover my spare. Never having bought a custom vinyl tire cover before, not sure who to go to, what I can expect to pay, etc. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. I assume I would do it online but I live in DC if anyone knows of a good place in Virginia, Maryland, DC area

Thanks, Gina

Re: Custom Vinyl Tire Cover-Recommendations?

Printed or painted?

Soft vinyl cover, or hard cover?

I can only speak on what I know, which is paint, not printing. I have painted both soft and hard covers and hard covers are more durable for paint due to the fact that they to not contract and expand in temperature extremes like a soft cover.

Soft covers can be painted with urethane automotive paints, but again, their durability is limited. If the cover stays on the tire all the time, and is never folded or creased, it can last a very long time.

Here is one I did for a guy up my way. I have no comment for the vehicle.

Re: Custom Vinyl Tire Cover-Recommendations?

I saw a brick 08 FJ on the freeway today. The person had one of those tire covers that you see on the G500 Mercedes. The one that is painted and hard cover all the way around. It was colored matched and had FJ painted on it. Looked sweet actually. I am not sure if this is from the Factory but worth a call to Matt at TRDSOURCE.
