I just bought these and installed them tonight:

Luminics Pure Blue H4 [LB-H4SF] - $34.99 : Car Lighting Xenon Halogen headlight upgrade bulbs HID

And I have to say, it's really amazing, the blue is great, not too blue, but just right, thanks to those who posted that link. I would post pictures, but you really cant tell the difference!

Still waiting for some more bulbs...

I bought my Silverstars at Canadian Tire, but something tells me the US doens't have these.

Okay, first of all I know I am a geek.

Now that we have established this:

I bought a Lux meter to measure light density. It is in the mail, on it's way to me. We can now... hopefully... get some quantitative values on the density of the light hitting the meter when placed in front of the FJ as I swap bulbs.

Google is your friend, but at the same time don't believe everything you find on the net.

I have purchased all the bulbs I am going to purchase, and I UPDATED the original post. I am not going to get into blue, yellow, or any other colored bulbs. If you are into these, COOL! But I'm not and won't be comparing them, just white (tinges excepted). However if you wish to take some photos and give a little review I will gladly put them into the original post. The more info the better.

As soon as the rest of the bulbs and the Lux Meter arrive I'll get to work.
