Wink Getting ready to install my Wet Okole Seat Covers....

Any last minute tips? Shadow Warrior already told me about loosening the seat bolts but is there anything else that may make the installation go smoother?

Tell the wife and/or girlfriend to stay indoors, and at least a 6 pack.

Allways helps me in whatever operation I'm undergoing run smoothly.

Yeh, don't remove your arm rest. Just use the larger hole in the armrest cover and stretch it over the arm rest. It took me about 45 min to do the front and back when I did mine.

What about the strap around the handles on the side of the driver's seat. That part is a little confusing?

It goes underneath the plastic cover along the side of the seat and hooks on under the seat.

Re: Getting ready to install my Wet Okole Seat Covers....

You can remove the plastic cover on both front seats relatively easily to get the outside edges "tucked" under. One phillips head screw on the back and then pull out on the back end, gently pull out the clip in the center, and pull forward (towards the dash) to release the trim completely. The height adjustment handle (lever) can also be removed to make it even easier, there are two phillips screws under the cover on the handle.

I just unhooked the back/bottom flap and tucked it up so that it runs up the back of the seat under the new cover.

Yeah no one here mentioned the fact the middle rear seat belt has to be unbolted to make the rear seats fit right.

Tony, Take this as the number one tip from a fellow Floridian. Put a fan in the garage!!! My garage was about 120 degrees and it was raining outside when I put mine on. I about died.
