Talking Dome Light Comparison (for us blind blind guys)

I attached a PDF file with my home-brew dome light comparison. After doing a little un-scientific bench testing between the factory FJ festoon bulb, PIAA festoon bulb and the Oznium 20-LED...... ....I chose the Qznium. I like em so much I put them in the front and the back domes. If you decide to do the mod, make sure you get thin ones.

Heres the link to the "Oznium Thin flex lights":
The Slimmest LED Dome Light on the Market!Oznium: Flexible Super Thin 20-This is what I ordered: LED Dome Light - White, Large , $29.99 each. I believe that the colored lights will not be as bright as the white.

Caution note: These lights are thin and flexible and will fit the stock FJ domes without a problem. Don't be tempted to trim them to fit other dome lights. If you trim them you risk severing either individual LEDs or whole rows of LEDs.

Re: Dome Light Comparison (for us blind blind guys)

Nice write up. Nice detailed .PDF file. I have the PIAA dome lights. Less brightness than stock. But the blue tint factor is cool when you have a VooDoo FJ that you drive. I also added a map light that is on a goose neck with a dimmer. This was added for the wife as she like to read as I drive.

A diffrent idea I guess. But very functional. For the wife that is.

Copying FJforMe, I purchased the Oznium lights - red for the front/c0ckpit overhead light to support night vision, white for the cargo bay and will get puck lights installed per his excellent instructions when I get home from Florida.

THANKS FJforMe! I love that mod...then again... to quote Will Rogers, "I don't ever think I met a mod I didn't like."
