Who has built their FJ out for camping and sleeping in?

We are exploring options for being able to sleep in the FJ or 1/2 in -1/2 out of the FJ. I was wondering what others have done to tackel this issue, can you please share some photos of any "sleeping/storage" mod's you've made?

Re: Who has built their FJ out for camping and sleeping in?

I have way to much stuff in the back of my rig to make it able to sleep in.
I was seriously thinking of getting a roof top tent like Wayne got for his (see Clark's mods thread in this section) but I am going with one of these.
I could throw it up on the roof too

There are some nice setups on the forum here though for sleeping in.

Re: Who has built their FJ out for camping and sleeping in?

I was thinking of a roof top tent, but it seems it might be a PITA on a multi day trip with having to fold it up to use the truck. So, probably going to look into something different for the roof rack so I can carry all the gear up there and have the inside of the truck for the dogs. Then, will probably get a giant tent and a couple of cots.
