I do A LOT of camping and I am frequently folding the rear seats to put a massive amount of dirty heavy camping gear into the back of the FJ. The back area of my truck, although less than 1 year old, is scratched and scraped and very well used. I'm wondering if any one who's got the Wet Okole seat covers on the rear seat has any input as to how sturdy they are and whether or not it would be a good idea to get them or not. I wouldn't want to have to remove the cover everytime I want to shove stuff in the back of the FJ to avoid ripping them to pieces.
Maybe I should just go for the two front seat covers only??
Personally I wouldn't put them in the back if you slide things on them.
you would have to pick the stuff up and sit it down on the back of the seat
I put some on my jeep a couple years ago, my drivers seat is rubbing through
on the seam from sliding in and out on the left side, much like I get out of the FJ.
I do like the product though, seems my Ass just wore it out...LOL
hahaha yeah I seem to have the 'sliding ass wore out seat' problem too! My old Toy P/U had duct tape holding the guts of the seat together on the drivers side from 10 years of my butt sliding out of the seat. Maybe this isn't such a good buy for me. I'm rough with my stuff and don't want to spend $250 or so on seat covers that will just end up getting trashed!

I went with only front covers because I took out the seat bottoms and never use the back for seats. I bought the elemmat that covers the entire back of the FJ. My seat back were so scratched up they turned gray. The elemmats also keep things from sliding around. Google elemmat and you can see their website. Go the the left side of the home page and click on FJ Cruiser and you will see a picture of them.

bernd Posted that he remove the cargo
plastic from the back of the seats, installed the
rear seat covers, then reinstalled the plastic
back on top so it would still maintain the cargo
area as stock...
