Removing scratches from the matte black parts...

after a few trips off road, the FJ is "pin striped" pretty much all over. The paint on the body, I've got figured out, e.g. cleaner wax, polish, buffing, etc. But the matte black trim pieces look like crap - I'm reluctant to put any wax on these... should I be? What should I use to remove the light scratches from these areas?

only thing I found that helps a little is duplicolor bumper paint,semi gloss black. other than that you could just not look and pretend they arnt there. lol. seriously though, take em as pride badges, kinda like scars, each one has a story behind it

I'm using ICE synthetic paste polish. on all exterior surfaces, including glass. It makes the black look new with no greasiness. 303 on interior.
