Interior / Exterior Visual TechThis section contains discussion related to visual modifications of the Toyota FJ Cruiser. Some items might include dash kits, roof rack modifications and other visual modifications.
I got the first one finished and mounted. It took more like 6 hours to do the job. As I said in the original thread, I added 1.5" to the height of the airdam to close up the gap at the roofline a little and make it as tall as the rack. The shaft collars are aluminum (painted) and the hardware is all stainless steel. I think it looks better than the first one.
In case you missed the original, here is the link: Homemade Airdam For Factory Rack
I will continue making more and hope to have some ready by the OBX Beach Bash.

Take what man makes and use it,
But do not worship it,
For it shall pass.
If to do were as easy as to know what were good to do,
Chapels had been churches, and poor mans cottages, princes’ palaces.
Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.
H. L. Mencken
