I attached the 2 sided velcro to the back of the lights, place it where I want it, and just screw it into the headliner. It's a very small screw due to the low weight of the light. With both velcro and screw, it should hold just fine.

I picked up some very similar that used double stick tape. Stuck one to the little void area above the rear view mirror and it is a pretty decent little map light.
