Re: Experiment: Blackout door handle using Tundra handle covers

Great find, I'll be ordering a set myself to replace my spray painted ones. I already see they will have to be retouched often because of wear from your hands and oils. Thanks for posting and CruiserLarry for the part numbers. Rep point to both of you guys.

Re: Experiment: Blackout door handle using Tundra handle covers

I want to make sure I order the correct parts. Did you just order two sets of the following parts numbers? Do we need to worry about right/left orientation of the handles?

Cover with key hole - $ 7.53/each - P/N 69217-0C010
Door handle cover - $ 12.59/each - P/N 69210-0C010

Thanks!

Sbechtold,
I ordered today and the parts woman asked if me if i needed a right and left, then she corrected herself and said that there is no left or right just one part. So the part is universal for left and right.
My only questions is can i get these on without having to remove the interior door panel?

thanks! according to cruiserlarry's post earlier in this thread you only need a torx wrench to change the handles out. You do not need to remove the inner door panels.

Re: Experiment: Blackout door handle using Tundra handle covers

That is what i hoped for, but from using the search button for a little while it would appear the torx bolt is only accesible from inside the door. I sent him a pm earlier about it.
