This is the install manual for the air dam. It has fuse locations in the manual.
Thanks for the write up. Looks good.
Thanks, Bear. And, thank you for the air dam install manual. Some good info in there that might apply to some other mods.

Steve maybe you could put a plug on the power cord before it goes into the grommet to make it easier for removal of the light in the event that the windshield ever needs to be replaced?
A windshield replacement shouldn't require the removal of the spotlight or anything within the A-pillar. However, that's not a bad idea putting an in-line plug right before (or right behind) the interior A-pillar cover, just in case access is needed in there for other mods.

Doesnt look bad. Are the any other options for a spot light... something a bit smaller. Also, does the arm inside the cab get in the way at all?

Yet again, Steve, I'm impressed by your sense of craftsmanship. Your work really shows that you develop a relationship with your cars and you think about them at the detail level. It's a pleasure to watch.

Your warning at the beginning is duly noted. I look at the clearance between the grab handle and your spotlight control at the end and it's CLOSE. There's really no room for screw-up.

You'd have made a fine surgeon.

Unity makes a 5" version fo this 6" spotlight. However, it's only available with a chrome housing and it's only 100,000 candle-power (versus the 245,000 candle-power of the 6").

No, the spotlight handle actually takes up very little space with the cab. Hardly noticeable.

Well, thank you, Jon.

From one detail-oriented obsessive-compulsive to another , I can certainly say that I enjoy following your work as well.

Again, thank you. Coming from you that is truly a flattering compliment.

Re: SPOTLIGHT (Post-Mounted): Installation w/ lots of pics!!

Ahh, unity pillar spot lights. Measure 20,000 times, and drill once. My first install took 6 hours for the first side since it was on an 07 Ford expedtion and i had absolutly no pics to go by for referance. Not even unity could give me clear answers on the bracket location. The other side went alot quicker. About an hour.
Great install. After installing nearly a dozen of these so far, i've always wonders want they would look like on an FJ. Not bad. Very good work on hole in the plastic pillar. Thats one of the hardest parts.
