Re: Open Rear Door from Inside (pics to follow)

I am all for the mod, it is bad a$$. A LED in the release knob for a little bling would put it over the top !

Re: Open Rear Door from Inside (pics to follow)

I finally got around to doing a combo of the "manual rear door unlock" and the "rear window unlatch". These mods are both worth the time. I gotta say thanks to "sonof40" for the great instructions on the manual rear door unlock and "wesayso" for the great rear window unlatch instructions.

Link to "wesayso's" rear window unlatch instructions:
http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...revisited.html

All went just like the posted instructions, but because I believe in looking before I leap, I spent time digging through the electrical manual to make sure that I understood where the switch would actually connect in the window schematics.

Thanks again for posting these great ideas.

Re: Open Rear Door from Inside (pics to follow)

I did this a few weeks ago. I also built a rack for the rear door that was posted a while back. Used the pieces of shelving rails. I have several MOLLE packs attached to these.

Thanks for coming up with these ideas.

Old thread but I found it, and did it today. Sometimes it helps to learn from others, that way I didn't get myself stuck in there (and I would too) and I am too big to be crawling to the front. Great idea.

Re: Open Rear Door from Inside (pics to follow)

Great Idea!! I'll add this to the list of mods. So far at 9...

Never has such a vehicle inspired me to do so much to it.
