Foam pads for FJ Cruiser Trays

Hey all, firstly just found this site and it's a gem!! I'm sore this'll be contributing to the fine tuning of my FJ!!

I just wanted to put my 5 cents in for those that might be interested. I recently found on e-bay a selling of foam pads which basically go into every storage compartment of the interior of the FJ. I work for Toyota, and many vehicles have more upscale cup holders, door compartments, etc. However with the FJ being a rugged vehicle, the company went for a more basic appearance.

I'm a clean freak, and really hate scratches in my car, so I thought I'd give these things a try (less than $20 anyways). They proved quite useful. The two biggest ones for me were the pads for the driver's glove box (now I have my sunglasses in there WITHOUT a case and they don't get scratched) and the one for coins (now I don't have jingling sounds all day on the road).

Just type "foam pads fj" in ebay and you should find them, and I really do recommend.

Re: Foam pads for FJ Cruiser Trays

Good idea. Im probably going to copy their idea and cut up some of my old mouse pads and put them where I put my change and garage door opener.

Re: Foam pads for FJ Cruiser Trays

I purchased these as well a few wks ago.

Overall, a nice product...pads are die-cut and each one is labeled to avoid confusion. Pre-cut double-sided tape is also included (if one needs it).

This is a nice alternative for someone too lazy to make their own (like myself).

Re: Cute

It's really not a bad idea, but he could have posted a few times before advertizing Ron
