FJ+Hellas+883's+ARB=Vast improvement!

All:

For those of you 'on the fence' about upgrading your front bumper to an ARB and swapping your stock springs out for 883's I say DO IT NOW! Way better ride, improved braking and cornering plus it looks great! The lights really help with augmenting the brights- I'd recommend that upgrade too. Picture:

Cheers,

Paul.

I think they are the 'soft' ones, but they certainly don't feel soft! I think the front actually went up a 3/4 inch or so, even with the ARB.

Paul,

Looks absolutely awesome! Thinking about the same combo!

Just haven't figured out where to get the springs installed or try to do myself! I assume you need an alignment after everything?

Re: FJ+Hellas+883's+ARB=Vast improvement!

Will the 1 1/2 inch lift in the front that the 883's provide allow 285's with no rubbing or do you still run stock tires?

Re: FJ+Hellas+883's+ARB=Vast improvement!

I run stock tires. I had heard an alignment will be needed, but my rig still tracks straight and true. As for DIY spring install, I paid someone else to do it- as I didn't have access to air-powered spring compressors. FWIW, I had the springs swapped out, arb installed and Hellas installed for $530.

Cheers,

Paul.
