DIY: FJ OEM Air Dam Light Mounts/Brackets

Looks good and nice write up. Seeing alot more of the air dams these days.

Did you use the connector that toyota supplies with the full air dam kit? The one where you use a conical dill bit to make the hole in the roof? I think it was a gasketed feedthrough type of connector.

Also...do the brackets that you fabbed up replace these?

I never had the full kit I think those are the oem brackets. Also I used a stepper bit and a bit of pre drilling.

Adding lights to the roof is going to add a little wind noise

This is the OEM air dam, with aftermarket lights that are the small size as the OEM lights.
