Anyone make more conforming TAIL LIGHTS?

The tail lights ar the most hideous feature on the FJ to me. Reminds me of the big red knot that grows from the heads of cartoon characters after being hit with a skillet.

I've seem various after market lights with different interior patterns and styles, but all with the same outer form. Does anyone make a good lamp kit that conforms a bit closer to the body?

I agree. Somebody could make some money if they could design and sell a wrap-around style of taillight for the FJ. It's just asking to be knocked off.

I dont think the tail light guards help either, aestheticly speaking. I'm not to keen on the bulging tail light but hey, it is an FJ characteristic.

Re: Anyone make more conforming TAIL LIGHTS?

I don't have and FJ yet, so I haven't removed the light to see what is behind it. But even without doing so, with an LED system, lowering the profile considerably should be doable.
