LED Interior light replacement--replaces OEM

I ordered new LEDs today and think this might solve my interior lighting issues.

Should be here is about 3 days and I will report back on how much improved the overhead interior lights gain.

Meanwhile, you might want to check this website for s FJ Cruiser specific fix.

Re: LED Interior light replacement--replaces OEM

They arrived today and seem well made. Install took about 20 minutes to get the fit just right. Once they went in, they were impressive.

I do believe they provide the advertised 18X improvement over the original bulbs. Toyota should be putting in these LEDs if they are going to use such limited fixtures.

I won't need to install more lighting I don't think, but I will report back in a bit after using the new lights for a few days.

Those look nice but I think I'd go with Ozniums since they're a bit cheaper. You got any pics of the install?

Re: LED Interior light replacement--replaces OEM

today i went to costco and picked up a three pack of stick on led lights and by far these are amazing, they light up the whole cabin and they only cost me 13 bucks. The cool thing about these are that the rotate 360 degrees and tilt side to side with 5 leds each, best buy ever, go check them out if you're looking for a cheaper alternative.

Re: LED Interior light replacement--replaces OEM

Gotta love 'em! They are bright and absent any longevity problems, I think this will be a great investment in my begin able to see and find things after dark.
