Please, post picture of Voodoo black out bumper, mirror, door handle and bezel

I am looking into black out bumper, mirror, door handle and bezel black. I would like to see some examples with stock 17" rims not blacked out.

Re: Please, post picture of Voodoo black out bumper, mirror, door handle and bezel

well. I kinda cheated but it has paid off. I got it done almost two years ago while I was in Hong Kong. (door handles, mirrors, and rear bumper) Dropped it off at the dealership and picked it up when I came back. BUT they removed it all and painted it.

The door handle, I would order the black Tundra ones.. There's a thread on it. I did just to have an extra set cost like $27 take 10 min to install.

The bezel I had off the weekend, (smoked out the turn signals) two retainer pins and two bolts... Easy

The wheels I painted by masking them.. There's a thread on that too. That was easy too.

Rear bumper, I had parts off the weekend too (test fitting bushwackers). Harder (PITA) but still pretty easy.

Mirrors, I believe that there is a thread on that too. I took them partially apart to put in PIAA bulbs in. Careful removing the mirror you can break the clips (I only broke 1 so I didn't have to replace the mirror). These are more complicated than most people think because while the mirror is locked into position you can paint it but if you don’t know to move it out of the locked position you will not know that the mirror raises to go to the next locked position. If you don’t know that you will see the silver.

The payoff for me is: I had some chipping on the mirrors and I took my FJ up to the dealership today to have them repaint them. They put a warranty on it so it’s not costing me the second time. They also used the bumper paint that they typically use that is supposed to be extremely durable.

At this point in time you may want to just wait an buy the trail teams blacked out mirrors, handles, bumper parts. It will cost more but they are made out of black material and you will never have chipping. All depends how much time vs money you have.

Black on blue just doesn't look right...thats why I originally hated the Bushwackers, black addons like horrid on Voodoo Blues, just don't look right...each to their own I guess.

I have some pics of the blackout with the silver rims. I have to run to kinko's to post them, so give me a few and I'll have them up.
