Just tape off for both bumpers and the mirror there is a couple of threads already on here how to take them off easily.

That strip below the bumper grill is just a tape and paper job. Cover everything around it the best you can, then spray paint the heck out of it.

If possible, I'd pull whatever I could off the truck for painting. IMO it is a lot easier to do a good paint job if the parts are off the truck. Plus you don't risk screwing up and getting paint on something unintentionally. Your dealer should be able to print out the diagrams of how everything goes together so you can take it apart!

This is simple to do. Mirrors, remove the side door panel, and unbolt mirror from door, 10mm I think.

Bumper wings, take the bumpers off completely, then inside the bumpers, you will see how the wings come off.

Could probably remove both in less than an hour.

For front bumper, you need to remove the grille and bezel.

There are many threads here to do it.

Re: Come on boys...help this brother go black :)

you have to take off the whole bumper to remove the corver pieces, they are quite easy to remove once the bumper is removed, i removed everything myself in under 30 mins....
