Re: Gobi stealth owners...please chime in

These show the optional brackets you can request if you don't want to install lights

Here's a good shot with optional hi lift brackets. I've been told it's not the best location for a high lift because it can catch on tree branches

The rack is solid. I can stand on it without feeling its going to break or anything and I'm not a "light" kinda guy

Re: Gobi stealth owners...please chime in

I've had my Gobi Stealth for a week, but just got back from Moab. I carried a couple of bikes on top, and lashed miscellaneous stuff to it. The rack is rock solid, and IMHO has about the same wind noise with the stock rack. I didn't mount lights; but used their windjammer brackets; which work fine. The rack wasn't cheap, but it's a good example of "you get what you pay for". If someone stole my FJ; I'd drive straight from the dealership (after replacing the FJ) to Gobi. Nice people, great product.
