Love my Gobi Stealth rack. I have had mine for more than 19 months and no complaints. Wind turbulence is bearable, you need to make sure that the fairing is positioned correctly. Offhand, I don't know how much taller it is, but it is shorter than the OEM roof rack and both are shorter than the Gobi Ranger rack.

Bottom line, this thing is rock solid and securely holds everything I've thrown at it, including myself.

Very solid roofrack. I highly recommend it (except for the price)

If you are concerned about the noise, put up lights or get the brackets Gobi has that will mount right were the lights should be. These will cut down the noise almost nothing. The roofrack is lower than the OEM rack.

awesome rack, pricey but you do get what you pay for. the rack tops out at 4 inches I think at the higest point. someone else just posted this question a couple days ago and cruiserlarry answered it with total vehicle height. do a advanced search and do only titles with stealth as the keyword. there should be about a hundred more with this same info.

x2. My wind noise was nearly eliminated after adding lights. You still get the occasional whistle with a strong crosswind but that is it. I went with Hella FF75 lights which fit the lines of the rack great and are much less expensive than the Piaas or Deltas Gobi recommends.

Price is definetly and issue and would have stopped me from getting one but I found a used one at a significant discount.

Re: Gobi stealth owners...please chime in

I opted not to do the roof lights as around here they would need to be covered all the time and therefore would almost never get used. I altered mine after the fact and dropped the front bar even and made a custom fairing to extend up to the new height.

Prior to that I had made a taller custom fairing to extend up to the higher height.

Gobi will do custom work, not sure for what cost but it would be worth asking if you had something specific in mind.
