I am not sure that my C340 is going to stay up over the mirror like this. I like that it is out of the way but it is a PITA to use the "spell" function up that high. I think I will invest in one of the weighted dash mounting pads. Garmin makes a nice one and I saw another one at The Source for $39.99. Friends of mine from the states told me that their insurance company sent out a big "do's and don'ts" for portable GPS. They were saying that mounting it in sight or even leaving the ring on the window from the suction cup is like an invitation to thieves....imagine!!!!! Biggest reason for me is that while we travel my gf runs the GPS sooooo she wants it on her lap ....Therefore the weighted pad will work best for us I think......She says when I run out of tie wraps she will by me another bag.....lol....(funny girl)

I like my vent clip mount so I can remove it quickly and easily.
