Re: Portable GPS Mount options PICTURES!

Where did you get the vent clip, and do you know if they make the clips for Magellan? I like that mount.

Re: Portable GPS Mount options PICTURES!

There's one at Overstock.com for 12.99. Just do a clip mount search on the internet. There's a ton of places that would love to sell you something.

Re: Portable GPS Mount options PICTURES!

Like I said, do a search on the internet. I searched for "Magellan clip mount" just now and came up with a site called The GPS Store, Inc. Garmin, Magellan, TomTom Systems and Accessories

I don't know which model you have ... they're out there. I like mine very much and I can switch it from car to car and put it out of sight when parked. Most convenient. Here's a tumbnail of the Magellan mount that came up.

Re: Portable GPS Mount options PICTURES!

After reading thru some of these post, I had to re-think this GPS mounting thing. I had the day off today as I work Friday thru Monday. So here's what I came up with. I think I like it better...

Re: Portable GPS Mount options PICTURES!

I have a Street Pilot and I really want to mount it in the dash compartment above the steering wheel.
How does the factory option come? The factory option appears to be the Street Pilot or similar size.
Does the factory come? Is it a different door and a different tray? Does it allow you to close the door with the GPS inside?
Maybe I can order the parts used in the factory set up?

Does anyone know of a Toyota online microfiche site where you can identify and order parts?

Thanks
