Before I totally destroyed mine and took it off. I had cut off the corners of the rectangle tow holes. Basically the 2" wide L shaped pieces.
This made it visually line up better with the front grill lines.
Then matte blacked it..

I've rattle canned my bling plate a while back before I got real skids. Maybe I just didn't put enough coats or I was wheeling too hard, the paint got blasted after 1 outing. It sure looked good before that though. Powdercoat would last a bit longer, but not worth doing on the bling plate.
