Re: Sandi's Saturday Cleaning

As Athena mentioned, I try to blast everything out with the compressor before I do anything else. After that I lightly wiped everything down with a micro fiber cloth (dry), and didn't see any problems from abrasive action (I still have Metberry dust, too). I used the compressor on the seats. I had no idea how much dust settled into the seats until I did that!!! I also took the compressor to the air filter, and boy was that thing clogged (don't forget the cabin filter).

The big clean is in a couple of weekends. That usually takes an entire day. I am going to work on buffing out a couple of surface mars on the paint that I picked up on Metberry as well.

Cool.
I guess I need to clean out the filters (somehow didn't even know that we have a cabin filter too - man, this thing has it all) before my 700 mile trip to the Kansas outback (hunting giant marine reptiles; i.e. like things on this site) next week.

I'm leaving for that on Sunday. So, I'll be doing 'Part II' of Sandi's Saturday Cleaning tomorrow.

Thanks.
steven

p.s. missed you at Spring Creek. Hope to see you guys in June.

It looks like we will be a go for June (especially with the trail team attending). As of today, there is a small possibility that my wife won't be going to Honduras, so she may be there too!!

Ya...really looking forward to meeting the trail team.

See ya there (I'll at least be there for the Sunday run - not sure about the CH thing yet).
