As soon as we have a well functioning prototype, I will start a preorder/interest thread...no money required. I will need 35-50 people willing to pay about $210.00 plus shipping and then I will place an order for production.

I will try to notify everyone who has voiced interest in this thread by PM

Timeframe:

2-3 weeks until Proto #2 is done.

A couple/few weeks to gauge interest. (from gauging current interest, it may be less time)

4-5 weeks to produce and ship

Are you thinking about the Scorpion Rack? I still think that Uphill is working on a production model. His prototype looked pretty cool at Summit! Maybe he will pipe in and let us know how it is coming along???

Man, it's too bad you don't have the time and money to make one like the one Volvo has for their wagons... It's a tubular steel piece that actually folds up to the roof on gas shocks and then comes down automatically when you hit the latch. Pretty dang sweet
