Re: Great deal on Hella 500's from amazon

Where'd you order the switches? And, how much?

I like the style of that switch - is it the same size as the Toyota console switches? I've got a couple of blanks that I could fill with switches...

Re: Great deal on Hella 500's from amazon

I ordered two switches for mine from 12V 110V - Power Switches - All shapes, Sizes and Colors! and I'm gambling that they'll fit the stock cut-outs. I got on on - off - on for the Hellas and an on - off for the 4lo-trac hack.

Hellas will be on - off - on-but-tied-to-hi-beams.

Let us know if they fit. I like that switch.

These switches are designed to drop into most scions, but with minor shaving of the stock switch locations they can be slipped right into place. I already have 2 on the left side of my steering wheel, and I am adding 4 to the center console switch area. In my opinion its totally worth the small amount of time it takes to get them to fit, the build quality of these switches is second to none.

I am a die hard fan of oznium for their customer service, quality product, and wide range of lighting products.

Re: Great deal on Hella 500's from amazon

Well, the BIG brown truck with the little brown man came to day, and as usual, got lost on the way. But anyway, got my 500's today, they look ok, they are just slietly differnt than the ones I got from a year ago, but look like they will work, got my swicthes ready, and all I got to do is yank off my light bar and swap out the lights and put it back on.

Re: Great deal on Hella 500's from amazon

They come with the Relay the Harness and a crappy switch.
I used these switches they fit into the stock locations with a little minor trimming they are a really nice quality switch.

Ok...ordered my switches...accidently ordered actuator only. Called em back within 30minutes of placing the order and they actually creditted my order and hooked me up with the right part. Gotta agree with you, the customer service is good!...Now if I can do the install without torching my FJ!
