i have been looking for more storage options in the immediate passenger compartment, i came upon these G.E.A.R. Rear Seat Cover by Smittybilt

has anyone used them before?

I always see them on display but never on a vehicle. I like to hear a review about them.

A user on the brown forum has used them. The fabric doesn't fit snugly on the seat portion though. Kinda raises up on the sides but when sat in it stretches. So, it's not uncomfortable and will not rip.

Don't do it! Remember, you have airbags in the seats. These covers won't allow the bags to deploy.

Okay after looking at the link again... are we talking about rear seat covers?

But I do know one person that had them on his Wrangler. He told me the material was way cheap. Not like a Cordura or ballistic nylon.

I just received my full set today. I have not installed them yet so I can not tell you how they fit but the material seems stout and they offer lots of storage places so many so that I will probally never fill them all. I was hoping that the tan would be closer to a sandstorm color ( it is alot darker than sandstorm) but oh well. Pictures to come when they get installed in a couple of days.

Got em they do not not fit properly. Though, you can get them to fit ok, great idea though. just ordered a set of wet okole today on a side note.

I could not wait so I went and installed them. The fronts are ok but the rear is way to small. These seat covers are more function than looks. They work well if you are looking for places to store stuff and protect the seats but leave something to be desired if you want to show them off. I will post pictures when I get a chance.

i must say it looks a little too much going on, like i strapped my eagle plate carrier to the back of my seat, thanks for posting pics!
