Ax and Shovel mount

I have looking around for a mount and I can't believe the pricing that I am seeing. like over $100 bucks for just two brackets. It's crazy. Anything better than all that everyone? I mean as all the money is right now it's kinda hard.

Thanks.

Re: Ax and Shovel mount

Do a little research, you can make your own from hardware.

Re: Ax and Shovel mount

Here's a link to get you started, I'll post what I did for my axe and shovel mounts tomorrow. I need to take some more pic's of them and I'll post them up with details. You can get all you need except the clamps from Lowe's or you local hardware store (go stainless on all hardware). It cost me a little over $90.00 for 6 mounts

Thanks to ''Singha''

Hi-Lift and Rack mount...

Re: Ax and Shovel mount

Here's some more photo's.
I used "The End of the Road" Quick Fists rubber clamps that hold objects from 1" to 2.5" in diameter. I got them from Expedition Exchange but you can find them all over.

Clamp on Frame Bracket 1 3/4'' from eBay, here's the item number 390041126959.

drilled and taped.

Make them yourself and have fun. Hope this helps.
