Nope, if you have the ARB snorkel, you won't be able to install the passenger side spotlight.

Otherwise, here's all the info you should need . . . .

SPOTLIGHT (Post-Mounted): Installation w/ pics

Thanks much, I now recognize your rig on the Unity web site. Cheers.

Re: I'm contemplating the BajaRack. Please gimme your pics & opinions.

have to say I love my ARB also... but not necessarily their (Man-a-Fre) after sale service.
I can walk around on the rack, load it with "stuff", my spare is permanently mounted up there (never mind clearance - I have no real garage)

Pics of the rack install and other mods to date can be seen here: Hotdub.com Photo Album - 08 Toyota FJ Cruiser

Re: I'm contemplating the BajaRack. Please gimme your pics & opinions.

Got my BR last week. Apparently I got the "Special edition" one piece design. Didn't expect that, since I brought the FJ to pick it up. Pretty ironic, picking up a rack and not having a way to haul it. Roped it to the top and drove gingerly over to my uncle's to install it. Super easy install, plus I got half a dozen compliments on it as I was installing it. Hauled my kayak and gear 500 miles this last holiday weekend with good results. Form and function, got a love it. I do feel silly buying the ladder though. I can't quite justify it's use, as I can step on the spare tire to access rack. Oh well, it looks sweet though.

the 1 pc. rack isn't "special edition". You can order them that way.

My last shipment was all 1 pc. racks as well. Nice upgrade, I'm happy.

Love the irony about the hauling part. Been there and done that. lol. .funny stuff.

Re: I'm contemplating the BajaRack. Please gimme your pics & opinions.

My one-piece BajaRack is on its way - I had the guys send it without powder coating it. My plan it take it to my fabricator to add some tabs, etc. to do some custom bike mounts.

It was tough choice - powder coat vs. paint. I like the idea of the tough finish (powder coating) but also know Ill modify the rack and it's a lot easier to grind off some paint, weld and repaint than deal with the PD.

Has anyone ever woked out a way to use Thule or Yakima ski racks or bike carriers on the Baja Rack?

I have my 78" Thule crossbars mounted to mine. I will have to adjust them in this winter to haul skis, but right now they are spread out to the ends to hauls kayaks and canoes.

Re: I'm contemplating the BajaRack. Please gimme your pics & opinions.

Can you please explain how you were able to mount the cross bars to the Baja Rack? (I've never seen the Baja Rack in person...so I'm trying to imagine it) Or if you have some pics you can post, that would be a big help too! THANKS
