I got my rack and ladder shipped for $878 from Sierra Expeditions. The rack only would have been $635 shipped. You cannot beat the price, nor the awesome customer service.

UPS beat up my rack delivering it to me, and the folks at BajaRack have been great taking care of the issue and getting me a replacement.

Are there any light tabs on the BajaRack? I have a light bar attached to my stock roof rack with 4 Hella 500's. I'd love to keep them up there if i get a Baja.

Re: I'm contemplating the BajaRack. Please gimme your pics & opinions.

For a wide variety of picture , go to the vendor area and we have quite a few threads with picture and lots of info from BR owners. As for light tabs, yes we do offer them, they allow for the light to be mounted above or in front of the wind deflector(s). most Thule and Yakima bike/kayak mounts will attach directly to our racks tubing. As I have said in the past, you won't be unhappy with BajaRack. Cris

Re: I'm contemplating the BajaRack. Please gimme your pics & opinions.

i was going to keep my oem but it was just too much work to make it do what I wanted....it could be done but required hundreds of dollars of attachments or labor to get configured and ever change in needs required more change in rack.

ARB and GOBI are great racks...too expensive and too heavy for my needs. The Baja offered lightweight, rigid construction, Plug-n-Play installation, in an aesthetically pleasing configuration with many many uses. I also like they offer a version specifically for the RTT crowd where the basket is only at the front portion and there are no side rails on remainder so the RTT sits almost on roofline significantly reducing the CG of your rig.

If you are not a BRAND/LOGO whore set on something based on reputation....and require it to be great quality at a fair price...then you have to consider the BajaRack setup I think. The more companies we get supporting our FJs the better as this is what happens......the mandatory $1300 roof rack is an option now rather than a mandatory option based on no competition. Hopefully same can be said for snorkels and other areas. Our bumpers and lifts have evolved where there is healthy competition and the rest will come.
I installed my BajaRack in office parking lot during lunch break. Took longer to take off my oem than to install the baja as long as you are prepared with proper tools for removing OEM....silicone gun for dabbing in bolt holes and then sockets for bolting to roof. The only time I needed any help whatsoever was in lifting bajarack to roof for installation. Everything else was easily a one man job....two would have made it go twice as fast if they have their own tools.

I have pics on my build thread below and it is my last upgrade besides CO2 tank install.

Enjoy.

Plus the full length cargo net that comes with it is very nice as well.

I have met Chris and Sergio and as far as I can tell they're both awesome people bent on providing excellent customer service and a great product.
