Re: New! MPAC Straddle Prototype

Looks good! I will be keeping a eye on it. Just the thing I need for small stuff. Keep up the good work. It is great to see venders come out with new stuff for the FJC.

Re: New! MPAC Straddle Prototype

This I must have. I've wanted to figure a way to mount my pistol there without drilling into the console for a long time! very sweet design.

finally the perfect rack for my H&K
Funny.... It looks to me to be a perfect place for a Kimber...

ETA: FJ's seem to be a poor choice for carjackings. : ) Remember, an armed society is a polite society.

I am pretty sure that if you mount a Kydex holster to the Straddle...you will want use the bolt on option for the MPAC Console cover. I have a feeling that if you don't...the whole thing will come up when you go for your pistol and you will end up having to club the carjacker with the straddle

In addition to the potential of a Blackhawk mount, we also are testing a universal MOLLE holster that will fit most standard frame Automatics.

I would suggest that you extend the passenger side further rearward as there is room there and symmetry isn't as important as more useful rack space.

I can smell a front, side, back, barrier combo/combo/combo/combo.

Keep 'em comin', Doc!!
We can't really move the passenger side of the rack back because there is only barely enough clearance for the rack itself between the consloe and the seat. You would not be able to mount anything on it. We made it as large as we could without facing the potential of rubbing issues.

^^

not only that, if you have to move the passenger seat up quite a bit to
make room for a tall one in the back you just might have an issue,
especially if you have something mounted there like a cb

I would be willing to do a small run of racks over the dash panel (as usual, would need 35-40 participants to do so).

Doc
Put me on this list. I'm in.

i like it too...will look saweet...
perhaps be available in specific colors to match the dash??

and could easily mount the cb more proper like on the right side...

Im sure it would be cheaper to get a rattle can and spray it and a whole lot less hassle on the supplier.

I wish I still had an FJ for this to go in.
