leak inside FJ by Fuse box

We have had very heavy rain in NY all of June. I have been finding puddles on the drivers side floor. When inspecting, I find water dripping from the fuse box. Does anyone have any exprience/fixes?

Just for giggles...Check your headliner...Is it wet also? (sometimes hard to see if not looking due to the grey color)

Have you had the windshield replaced?

Have you run any wiring through the firewall and into the fusebox?

Re: leak inside FJ by Fuse box

Search the forums. I recall other owners citing leaks in the around the driver's door and the cause was a problem with the rubber weather stripping. It was a defect known to Toyota and repaired under warranty.

See the thread Soaking wet driver's seat belt.
