Quickietiedown Rope Tie Downs

Does anyone have any experience with the rope tie downs from quickietiedown.com? Looking for user feedback. Thanks.

i prefer ratchet straps, for the ability to tighten down objects.

X2 Rachet straps for lashing down heavier objects.

To me the rope thing is a gimick. You can secure things well with rope using just the rope.

Im pretty sure i have seen something similar to that one, and i believe it will only tighten as much as from you pulling the rope.

As NCFJ said, if i had to use a rope i would just make my own knots. I have just found ratchet straps more effective at keeping stuff tight and secure. I use em for holding down my jerry cans all the time.

Thanks. Where can you get good ratchet straps? I prefer around 6' max so I don't have a lot of extra strap.

I guess I'll offer the other opinion. I have some of these. I use ratchet straps for heavy stuff. But I use the quickie tie downs a lot for other things. I like them much better than those webbing straps with the cam that you pull. The rope ones are quicker and don't tangle as much IMHO.
