move to Germany
Hallo!
My husband has verbally accepted a job offer in Hamburg (still waiting for them to meet MY demands in writing, heh heh). The company would move us from California, including my FJ and his Prius. How is service going to be over there? Do they know how to work on the FJ?? I should probably call Toyota corporate... but does anyone know if the extended service we purchased can be transferred over there? I hope so!

Not sure about the service, but at over $3.00 a liter (not gallon) you'll wish you only had the prius.

I know... and we will take a LOT of trips there, too, in the FJ, because we have a son and the Prius is just too small for all the extra baggage. This deal is just for 2-3 years, then we come back to CA. Will be renting out our house -- the REAL nightmare!

...and you are where? Geez woman......rent your house, drive your benz, is there anything else I can do for you???????
East Bay, in the hills, view of bay and San Fran from our house. We are about to start landscaping, including a huge deck. Once this yard is done, I am NOT going to want to leave!
Shall I just leave the Benz parked out front for you, then?

When is that again?? This probably won't happen before June.
Uphill, I was trying to plan a trip to Lake San Antonio to see bald eagles and do some trails next month... we could make it a SoCal meets NorCal thing?? It's at the end of the Kern County thread in NorCal section. Supposedly it's the highest concentration of baldys in the Pacific flyway... people come from all over the globe to see -- boats trips through early March. Anyway, I had some Qs for spertierra about the various 4x4 trails down there.
