Re: Where in the world would you like to drive your FJ?

Down a beautiful and challenging trail through a tropical rainforest full of amazing foliage and exotic animals. With the destination being crystal clear pool of warm, turquoise water. With Matthew McConaughey waiting under a waterfall in his Texas Longhorns swim trunks. Amen.

Re: Where in the world would you like to drive your FJ?

I would like to do the trek Thong did up into North Alaska, then I would like to go all the way down in South America. From one end to the other, I think that would be a blast. I would maybe have to have a MOG to do the South America portion, but it would be fun.

That's the classic route: Prudhoe Bay to Tierra del Fuego. I hope to be able to do that someday too. Preferably in a highly modified older mog, like a type 404 or 406. Of course, by the time I'll be ready, our FJC's will be classics too.

South-East Asia,
I spent 10 1/2 years there in the air force between 1970 and 1983. I would like to see that part of the world again.

Agreed. We may have to plan an Expedition one day. I know Larry (uphill) has also voiced the same thing. I think it would be awesome to do something like that. I don’t know, what maybe a two month excursion. In outfited unimog's, very cool
