New proud FJ'er - almost!

After lurking on here and checking out all the useful information, I finally was able to negotiate a decent deal on my own FJ yesterday. She's on a ship headed this way, and although I won't be able to take delivery until the 28th (or so), I am enjoying the anticipation of knowing she's coming.

I tried for a long time to get one that wasn't loaded to the hilt, and it's pretty hard. I was happy to finally settle on a Titanium / 6MT / CQ / UP.

So anyway, I wanted to say hey to everyone out there, and I hope to contribute at least a sliver of what I have taken from this forum already.

Glad to see you all here; what a great site this is.

We have some pleasant weather around the Denver area today, so I'm getting the "nursery" ready - sweeping and moving some of the typical garage stuff elsewhere so that it is ready for the homecoming.

Re: New proud FJ'er - almost!

Welcome!! I too am eagerly anticipating the arrival of my Titanium FJ, should be here on the 10th! OHHHHH... I can hardly wait. I know how you feel my friend.

There sure is a LOAD of useful information on this site. I was more informed of about the FJ then the salesman was!! It is nice to be able to research to such depth what exactly we are buying. Its like I have already been driving this machine for months!

Cheers,

Welcome DJ. Pretty exciting to know you will have one soon. Pull up a chair and start pecking away.

Welcome onboard. New or used it's still a lot of fun to drive. I know what you mean about having to wait for an unloaded one to get here. I couldn't wait any longer so I got one that was almost loaded to the hilt- no woofer.Be sure to download the FJ manuals provided by a generous member at

Welcome to the obsession. Anticipation is often better than reality...but this is one of those exceptions...the excitement continues months after the purchase...you are gonna love this truck!
