Just put down the deposit on my FJ

Hello everyone. I just put a deposit down on an FJ last week. They did not have what I wanted in stock so they are in the process of locating one/ordering one so I may not have it for a couple of weeks now. But, I have been visiting this site for a few months (figure it was time to join) and it was very helpful in helping me decide what I wanted in my FJ. For my truck, I decided on a 6M/T in Titanium with CQ, UR2, GY, DH, 3T and Z2. Purchased the truck for $250 over invoice (~$26,700). All in all I feel like I did pretty well but now the wait is killing me. Hoping it comes in sooner than later.

Welcome to the Forum and good color choice. you will love your FJ and you will find that it will be worth the wait. It took me 4 months to get the one I ordered. Hopefully you won't have to wait as long as I did.

hey....i've heard different variations of "call letters" for the packages, options etc.
what are the ones you're getting: CQ, UR2, GY, DH, 3T and Z2 ?

As for the options on my FJ, they are:

CQ - Convinence package
UR2 - Upgrade package #2
GY - Side air bags
DH - Tow package
3T - Roof rack
Z2 - Floor mats (all weather), Rear door storage, First aid kit and Arm rests

Welcome to the forum. The waiting is pure heck. But it is worth the wait. I've had mine since last April and still feel like I just got it.

i ordered everything you have except the Z2 (i found out where you can get the fj accessory items, etc. online for less).
also- what state are you in? (250 over invoice sounds like a good deal!)
i'm assuming the 26,700 is the price before tax & license??

I am in tax free New Hampshire so that price is before the license fees. Yeah, I was very pleased with the price. I got in touch with the dealer by going through the internet via Edmunds.com. It was by far the easiest car buying experience ever. I told the dealer that I had already gotten a quote from another dealer and that they were going to discount the truck $2K. When I asked if they could do better, they said sure, how's $250 over invoice sound. That translates into ~3K off the sticker.

They still can't find what I wanted so they had to put an order with Toyota. Looks like it will be a few months instead of weeks. This sucks...but will be well worth it in the end.

And you got a good deal from your stealer (dealer). I hope you enjoy your FJ!
