MSRP in Pacific Northwest

Hello peeps. Greetings from the Pacific Northwest. I've been wanting the SE FJ for a while now but all the dealers (in Washington State) claim they can't get one anymore and after numerous calls finally located a dealership that said they'll have one in but MSRP is what it'll be. To fellow Seattlites, were you successful in bargaining BELOW MSRP??? Thanks for the awesome forum.

Re: MSRP in Pacific Northwest

Okay, I am not a Seattlite (used to be), but am south of you in Vancouver. It seems that MSRP is the going rate anywhere around here. People in the Northeast seem to have it the best with regards to inventory and pricing. If you really want the SE, I say go for it!

Re: MSRP in Pacific Northwest

Is there THAT many people here in the Seattle area WITH the special edition since I do ALOT of driving for work (Bellevue to Tacoma) M-F and I've only seen it ONCE on the road. Would it be a bad idea to use this thing as a commuter???

Best advice is to do your research through edmunds.com

Well, you already know the gas mileage isn't that great, but it certainly is not bad enough to offset buying another car just for commuting. They are very fun and comfortable to drive - I personally think it makes a great commuter! Just go for it!!

Re: MSRP in Pacific Northwest

This Vehicle, I have to say would be the perfect vehicle for the northwest, I used to live further up by Bellingham. with the full time 4 x 4 option and great road handling, it'll get you to work without sliding all over the "5". And having lived there, their are so many outdoor activities to do, including snowboarding and off roading. If you cant get the TRD edition, dont worry the other FJs are still great vehicles. and you can always add in TRD CAI, Catback exhaust, and a better suspension (donahue sports racing, etc.), I believe the arent many differences after the black paint job.

Re: MSRP in Pacific Northwest

Contact Titus-Will Toyota in Tacoma. Ask for Dan. Tell him "Brian with the Yellow FJ said you'd be willing to work with me below MSRP". They will sell to you under MSRP. Do you homework first though, build your FJ on Toyotas website so you know what the MSRP is with all the options you want.

They have a really nice Voodoo blue with roof painted too, and a Cabo interior (Blue leather) that looks nice. I wouldn't own it though, as I plan to do some offroading.

Any more questions, email me at : ripsnort60@comcast.net

The differences I noticed that were not available with non-TRD SE were:
Upgraded tires and wheels
Bilstein shocks
Badging
Black roof

If you bought the tires and wheels after you bought an FJ, you do get a savings...but that's about it. I seriously looked at the TRD SE, but decided I wanted the color I wanted, and not be forced into black (again) Black is beautiful, but too much damned work to keep it clean, and I'm anal about clean (when not offroad)

Re: MSRP in Pacific Northwest

TItus-Will currently has in stock:
1 Titan silver
2 Sun Fusions
1 Black Cherry Pearl

I know for a fact that at least 2 have been on the lot for close to 30 days(Sun Fusions). They'll most likely negotiate under MSRP on those two more easily.

Re: MSRP in Pacific Northwest

I bought my FJ from Magic Toyota back in June....

They wouldn't go below MSRP. I doubt that you will get the SE for less than MSRP.

Hello chewey46 it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?
